Cantina Furlani + Best End: 5-Course Food & Wine Pairing Dinner

On Wednesday, November 6th we are hosting our very first food and wine event and we couldn't be more excited! Although beer is clearly a major focus of our brewpub, wine is also an important part of our beverage program and we're super excited for the chance to start introducing you to some of the wine producers and wines that we've carefully selected for our stellar natural wine list.

So join us on the 6th for a deep dive into the artisanal wines of Cantina Furlani with fourth generation winemaker, Matteo Furlani. Produced in the Northern Italian alpine region of Alto Adige, Cantina Furlani combines tradition and avant-garde to create natural wines with refinement and personality.

Chef Cory Burke will present a 5-course dinner, each paired with a different wine, to showcase the mouthwatering freshness of Furlani's beautiful Italian wines. A sneak peek into what's on the menu: grilled oysters with housemade mignonette, an epic charcuterie board featuring our 48-day dry-aged beef brisket and made from scratch khachapuri (cheese-filled bread) with homegrown herb butter....just to whet your whistle!

Best End is teaming up with Avant Partir to host this event from 7:00-10:00 pm, and the wines showcased will be available for

1ST COURSE

- Wood fired North Coast Oysters with garlic and sage butter

- Fritto Misto

 

2ND COURSE

- Fish soup with mussels, rock fish, smoked tomatoes, marjoram and cream

 

3RD COURSE

- Salumi platter with cured and smoked meats, cheeses, pickled vegetables and a variety of accoutrements

- Bagna Cauda with fresh vegetables and bread for dipping

 

4TH COURSE

- Goulash with Stone Mountain Cattle beef, cumin and creamy polenta

 

5TH COURSE

- Krapfen with cardamom, ginger and lemon dipping jam

 

Best End is teaming up with Avant Partir to host this event from 7:00-10:00 pm, and the wines showcased will be available for purchase at the dinner for later pick up from 3 Parks Wine Shop.
