Buxton Books is excited to host Kimberly Brock in the bookstore to celebrate the release of The Fabled Earth. Kimberly will be in conversation with an author we are lucky to call local, Signe Pike!

About The Fabled Earth:

Steeped in centuries of Southern mythology from the Georgia coast and culminating in the historic burning of Dungeness mansion, The Fabled Earth is a story of three women connected in different ways to the ghosts and secrets of the past that they must confront or reconcile with in order to forge their own paths. The gentle magic of Alice Hoffman meets the rich details of Kate Morton, all wrapped in southern folklore and charm.

About Kimberly Brock:

Kimberly Brock is the award-winning author of The Lost Book of Eleanor Dare and The River Witch. She is the founder of Tinderbox Writers Workshop and has served as a guest lecturer for many regional and national writing workshops including at the Pat Conroy Literary Center.

About Signe Pike:

Signe Pike was born in Ithaca, NY, and graduated from Cornell University with her Bachelor of Science in Communication. She worked as an acquisitions editor at Random House and then Penguin before leaving to write her first book, a travel memoir entitled Faery Tale: One Woman's Search for Enchantment in a Modern World. Pike has researched and written about Celtic history for the past fifteen years. Her writings have also been published by SalonCharleston City Paper, Book Riot and NPR.org.
