Charleston's best party of the year!

Join us on May 15 to sample some of the best food from Charleston's top restaurants plus tasty adult drinks at Charleston's Best Party.  You'll party down with Charleston celebs and all the winners of this year's Best of Charleston contest.

Charleston City Paper’s annual Best of Charleston competition is the largest reader contest in Charleston with awards in more than 400 categories.  This year more than 100,000 people placed about a million votes in our 28th Best of Charleston competition.

This year's theme:  Under the Sea!

For one night only, step into another world, deep under the sea, where lost ships, sea creatures and lost treasures live! Pirates, sailors, mermaids, creatures of myth and all sorts of aquatic life will come together to celebrate Charleston’s best. You’ll dive down to our food court, swim over to the dance floor, document your experience at our photo booth and explore the City Paper’s underwater shipwreck.

Party details:

Location: Building 64, 2301 Noisette Blvd., North Charleston, S.C.  29405

Attire:  Costumes encouraged but not required. Dress to be seen like a rainbow fish, blend in with your surroundings like an octopus, come ready to sing like a little mermaid or dress as an explorer. Your adventure awaits! 

Parking:  Available adjacent to Building 64, and it includes wheelchair accessible parking.  FREE parking, but Uber/Taxi/Lift encouraged.

Lights:  The party will feature lots (emphasis on lots) of flashing lights. If you are sensitive to light, be cautious.

Sound:  The music may be loud at times.  Enough said.

Health protocol:  If you are sick, we ask that you not attend this year for the safety of all guests.

Ticket required:  A ticket is required for entrance to the party.

Adults only:  At entry, each guest must provide identification to verify they are 21 years of age or older. No exceptions!  Each guest then will receive a wristband that to be worn throughout the party.
